Characteristics: The drug consists of the dried, whole or cut calyxes and outer calyxes harvested at fruiting time.

For eczema and constipation.

thirst-quenching, laxative, antibacterial, diuretic,
antispasmodic
Tea making
Pour boiling water over 1.5 g of hibiscus flowers
and strain after 5 to 10 minutes.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed: Drink a warm cup several times a day.
Hints
Hibiscus should not be used during pregnancy. Hibiscus can have a mild laxative effect.
