Low-carb psyllium husk bread


Ingredients for 1 bread:

4 eggs

3-5 tbsp edible bran (millet)

1 MSP sea salt

3 tbsp Klenk whole linseed

250 g low-fat quark

1-2 tbsp Klenk psyllium husks

1 pk. baking powder

50 g ground nuts

100 g Klenk ground linseed

(walnuts/hazelnuts)


Mix eggs, salt and low-fat quark and then mix well together with the other ingredients. Place the dough in a greased bread pan or on baking paper. Sprinkle with seeds if desired and bake at 160 degrees for 60 minutes.


Store the bread in the refrigerator in an unsealed bag. It also freezes well.


If the dough is too liquid, simply increase the psyllium husk content by another 2 tablespoons or 1-2 tablespoons of chia seeds.
